Crucial 2GB Ballistix Tracer PC2-8500 DDR2 Memory Kit Review
Last week I got the chance to play with 2GB of Crucial Ballistix Tracer memory modules, rated at DDR2-1066 on 5-5-5-15 timings. First thing I noticed was the Heatspreader, black with a thick shiny carved edge around it. As if the sixteen led’s weren’t enough bling-bling 🙂 Instead of starting slow by benchmarking it with the default timings/settings I jumped straight to see how it would perform overclocked. Not the best way to review but then again why not go Ballistix 🙂

So here they are 2 sticks of Corsair 8500C5 memory modules stated to work at 1066Mhz? Well lets see what they are made of.

This fan has a blue LED, and has 8 rows of little lights that lit up to show three important informations. One of them is the RPM, the second one is the temperature of the air being blown out of the case, and the third one tells you if the air that is being blown out of the case is COOL, WARM, or HOT. Making a HXL128 Silent CPU Cooler
We all know the SI128 cpu cooler from Thermalright, put on a 3000rpm fan and it cools like a charm but sounds like a hairblower. There are ways of making a high-end cooler silent and yet perform realy well. One of my friends (which came to visit me and raid my fridge) is shouting, why not remove the fan and then it quiet , well he is a noob so I wont take notice of him. The Thermalright includes fanbrackets which can be used to install a 120mm fan, but they suck. I am going to use rubbers… ( I should have done this 9 months ago ;-).
Thermaltake Armor Jr VC3000BWS Midi-Case Review
Thermaltake started its core business based on our extensive knowledge of PC thermal management during the era where the area of performance CPU cooling was only exclusive for overclockers or PC enthusiasts. With the company’s initial launch of Orb coolers, it created waves of shocks and appraisals throughout the gaming and overclocking communities. Thermaltake quickly became the name gamers turn to when they need high-end and reliable thermal solutions. But apart from cooling solutions they are also a big name where computer cases concern. Today I will e looking at the Thermaltake Armor Jr VC3000BWS. The box had rough ride during it transport from Taiwan to The Netherlands, but don’t let the looks fool you. The content arrived without any scratches or dents:-) Let’s have a better look….

This week I have taken a look at Thermaltake’s Blue OrbII cpu cooler which can be used for both Intel LGA775 and AMD K8 sockets. With specs like 120mm fan, 17dBA it promises to be a silent solution. With this in mind how would it preform .
Scythe Kama Bay 5.25 System Cooler Review
Do you own a case that still has 80mm fans installed and ever wanted to get a better airflow in your case but you simply dont have the room for it? Well Scythe came up with a simple but very effective drive-bay cooler. This cooler can be installed in the front of your case, which adds more airflow going in to your case. I myself was looking for a way to improve and direct the airflow towards the back of my case….
