Twitter, Facebook Hit With DDoS Attack; The Horror, The Horror

A distributed denial-of-service attack on one (yes, one) person yesterday left news media in a quandary. With no Twitter, and no Facebook either, how was the news to be obtained? Seriously, however, the outage was the result of attacks across several services aimed directly at a blogger named Cyxymu from the Eastern European country of Georgia. August 7 News from Around the Web

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Processor @ TweakTown and other reviews from around the web can be found by visiting our forums!

“When originally released, Phenom had a nick name of the black death. The TLB bug with the L3 cache caused serious stability and reliability problems and the only work around was to disable the L3 cache in the BIOS, removing any performance benefits the Phenom processor had over the Athlon X2 line. This, however, has thankfully now changed. BE stepping Phenoms removed this problem and since then a second generation Phenom II has emerged, which is one of the most impressive processors we have seen.

Today we have on display the Black Edition 955 clocked at 3.2GHz, AMDs fastest processor to date. Lets see just how well this baby performs compared to its 810 counterpart as well as Intels Core i7.”

All told, both monitors feature no fewer than 11 connectors, including two HDMI, four USB, VGA, DVI and three audio ports. Clearly designed

The all new MoGo Mouse is engineered to solve that “lame trackpad” problem so often associated with cramped netbook spaces, but the executive leaves a little to be desired. The MoGo Mouse for Netbooks measures five millimeters thick (0.2″), including the stick-on
