Fujitsu’s CELSIUS ULTRA Gaming PC Seen Playing Crysis

A video has shown up today of Fujitsu's much-hyped CELSIUS ULTRA gaming PC which, as promised, made its debut at the big KnastLAN event in Germany this weekend. The video shows the CELSIUS ULTRA gaming PC's case and the frames per second are around 80 on average. Not sure what setting the system was using, but it doesn't look like 'very high', so we aren't impressed yet. If companies like Fujitsu want to do viral marketing and build up hype with videos like the one shown below, they better try again.

From the sound of things, however, Fujitsu still isn't quite ready to dish out many details about the system's specs, although it does apparently make use of a pair of unspecified overclocked NVIDIA graphics cards in an SLI configuration, and it was reportedly able to run Crysis “impressively” at a full 120 fps.

HP Now Shipping NVIDIA Tesla Solutions

NVIDIA announced today that it has reached an agreement with HP to offer Tesla GPU’s as an option to the HP Z800 workstation. NVIDIA launched Tesla several years ago as part of its attempt to broaden the perceived usefulness of its products (and the usefulness of GPUs in general). The driving force behind CUDA (and to some extent, GPU physics) has been the company’s steadfast claim that massively parallel GPUs are capable of a level of efficiency (in terms of performance-per-watt) and scaling that’s an order
