Scythe, the Japanese company that specializes in the art of CPU cooling, has come up with a novel way to attach additional internal storage to your PC. The solution goes by the name of the Slot Rafter and allows you to attach up to four additional HDDs or SSDs to your system by slotting a mounting module in a spare PCI slot (nowadays, they’re all spares) within your PC. The module has no electronic elements to it, the “card” sticks out of the PCI slot and screws to the bracket mount, just like a regular

Nokia’s Self Charging Phone Harvests Ambient RF
The folks over at Nokia now have a prototype cell phone that will make good use of the ambient RF energy from various sources to charge to power the phone. The concept is based off of work done by Nikola Tesla many years ago.
The system collects energy from ambient radio waves emitted by antennas, TV masts, Wi-Fi transmitters, and the like. This might all sound uber-scientific, but we've been using this technology for years. Have you ever exited a store, only to hear the beep, beep, beep of an accusing alarm system? Many retailers use radio frequency identification to prevent theft and track inventory. Like RFID tags, the Nokia phones would catch radio waves across a range of frequencies, harnessing them for power.
