Sans Digital may not be the first name that comes to mind when you think Network Attached Storage, but it’s a solid company with a solid background in the field. The latest device to spring up from the company is the 2-bay MobileNAS MN2LP — a NAS device that’s geared towards home users and small businesses that can get away with just a pair of bays (as opposed to 4+ bays in more SMB/SOHO-based devices). The 2-bay design still enables users to setup a RAID arrangement, which provides redundancy in case one drive

As is typically the case, there are plenty of hot, upcoming new products being showcased at the Computex event, currently going on in Taipei. And although Intel is yet to nail down a specific launch date and official product name, Asus is already showing off motherboards that will support Intel’s upcoming mainstream Nehalem processor derivatives, codenamed Lynnfield–and sometimes referred to as Core i5, perhaps incorrectly. Intel Larrabee samples said to perform like GeForce GTX 285
After teasing up with a nice wafer in April, Intel has kept rather quiet about its return to the graphics market but as the release of the first Larrabee cards closes in, more info about them are starting to come about. The latest Larrabee rumor is that the current samples can deliver performance comparable to Nvidia's highest-end single-GPU offer, the GeForce GTX 285.
Since Nvidia and AMD will most likely have new, DirectX 11-ready high-end cards by the time the Larrabee debuts then the reported performance won't be enough to challenge them. This would still be in line with some previous mentions that Intel will not target the performance crown with Larrabee but rather take on the mid- to upper mid-range segment. Larrabee is expected to make its way into stores late this year or in early 2010.

Asus Eee PC 1008HA “Seashell” Review
Today, we’re looking at the very first Asus Eee PC netbook that looks nothing at all like its predecessors. In fact, we’d wager that Asus included this machine in its Eee PC line simply because of the brand recognition.Although, Asus isn’t content with labeling this only an Eee PC. The 1008HA was originally unveiled in March at the CeBIT conference in Germany, but
NEC’s LaVie Light Netbook Packs HDD And SSD

China Block Sites Ahead of Tiananmen Sq. Anniv.
It’s not as though the Internet is totally open in China, and in fact many users don’t realize what they are missing, just that they can’t reach certain sites. However, as the 20th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre, or what China likes to refer to as the June Fourth Incident, approaches, China has pumped up its censorship of the Web. According to multiple media sources, China has blocked Twitter, Flickr, Hotmail, and other sites, starting on Monday. According to the Associated Press, China has been
