Google Improves Gmail for iPhone & Android

Google released a new Web-based version of Gmail that will provide iPhone and Android phone users with faster access to messages and offline access. “You’ll notice that it’s a lot faster when performing actions like opening an email, navigating, or searching. And if the data network drops out on you, rest assured that Gmail won’t. You’ll still be able to open recently read messages and to compose over a flaky, or non-existent, network connection,” wrote Google mobile engineer Joanne McKinley on the Google blog.

GameRigs Ego Custom Gaming System @ TweakTown and other reviews from around the web can be found by visiting our forums!

“GameRigs is a based in Ontario, Canada. I had the chance to interview company representatives one afternoon and this statement summarizes GameRigs; “We care about what is inside of the case, from the CPU to the way the door works. How do we enhance the gaming experience and above all, customer service.” In the same interview I learned that GameRigs works with a large amount of partners, both from the hardware and gaming industry. “When ordering from GameRigs you are not just working with us but our partners and their knowledge base as well. Our strength comes from the collection.”

GameRigs has a unique approach to system building. Their cases are supplied from Lian Li, a design rarely seen in the U.S. outside of GameRigs systems. Instead of using automotive paint like other system builders, GameRigs has brought a fresh, baked on coating that looks like paint, but has the long lasting, nearly indestructible properties of powder coating. Although the cases are what helps GameRigs stand out from the crowd, their goal is to provide a high quality of service, experience and a total gaming platform that goes much deeper than just a surface coat.”

PC Power & Cooling introduces the Pro-Source UPS 1500

OCZ Technology Group yesterday unveiled the Pro-Source 1500, the first Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) from PC Power & Cooling. Built for absolute stability and reliability from one of the most trusted names in power supplies, the Pro-Source 1500 UPS is the cost effective power protection solution for todays high-end enthusiast and mission-critical systems. The PC Power & Cooling Pro-Source 1500 is the first pure sine wave, high output UPS retailing under $300.

PC Power & COoling Pro-Source 1500 UPS

Designed by PC Power & Cooling to be fully compatible with all PC Power and OCZ brand PSUs, the Pro-Source 1500 UPS is your ultimate source of back-up power. The Pro-Source provides a pure sine wave output, versus the conventional square wave or step sine wave produced by lesser quality UPS units. A pure sine wave is essential to a professional-grade back-up power source, while an inferior step sine wave plays havoc with todays sophisticated and sensitive power factor correction (PFC) circuitry, making it possible for your PSU to reject the back-up power source and shut down. A professional UPS should output the same quality of power that your utility line delivers, and the Pro-Source 1500 does just that, providing a clean, pure sine wave to effectively power your high-performance PSU during a utility failure.
