Windows 7 Nears Completion
There are still many Windows XP users that have not made the jump to Vista due to the myriad of issues those who have upgraded have experienced along with steeper hardware requirements and decreased performance in some areas. Microsoft Corp.'s next version of the Windows operating system is almost ready for prime time.

The CEO announced that a nearly final “beta” test version of Windows 7 will be available Friday for regular PC users to download and tinker with.

When USB 3.0 hardware will become available in late 2009 or early 2010, users will have to settle for about one fourth of the theoretical maximum bandwidth, TG Daily learned.
