Samsung announced today that their Galaxy Tab Android-powered tablet will be sold through all four major U.S. wireless carriers in the \u201ccoming months.\u201d The 7\u201d tablet will run the Android 2.2 operating system and be powered by Samsung\u2019s 1GHz Hummingbird processor.  <\/p>\n

Sprint and T-Mobile have already confirmed that they\u2019ll begin selling the tablet, though we\u2019ve yet to receive word from AT&T or Verizon Wireless.  <\/p>\n

The 13-ounce Galaxy Tab features a 7\u201d TFT touchscreen display, front and rear-facing cameras, and an array of wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, etc.).  Pricing information has not yet been released, though we expect competitive pricing vis-\u00e0-vis the Apple iPad.<\/p>\n
