Verizon Wireless has just announced the DROID Pro, an upcoming Messenger-class Android Phone from Motorola. This is the second Android smartphone released by Motorola with a front facing QWERTY keyboard (the first was the Motorola Charm<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Features include a 1GHz TI processor, a 3.1-inch touchscreen, 2GB of internal memory, a 5MP camera with LED flash (with SD rather than HD video recording), 802.11b\/g\/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The DROID Pro will run Android 2.2 at launch and ships with a 2GB microSD card. The DROID Pro is also a world phone, meaning it\u2019s compatible with GSM\/GPRS networks in over 200 countries for connected travelers.<\/p>\n
