Both run Android 2.3 \u2018Gingerbread\u2019 and will ship on June 24th.&#160; <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/pocketpccentral.net\/smartphone\/android\/sprint\/htc_evo3d.htm\">HTC EVO 3D<\/a> is the first smartphone to feature a \u201c&#8217;glasses-free\u2019 3D\u201d screen, a technology currently found only in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B002I096AA\/palmsizepccentra\">Nintendo 3DS<\/a>.&#160; The 3D-capable screen is 4.3-inches. <\/p>\n<p>The new EVO also can record 3D video and take 3D photos thanks to its dual primary cameras.&#160; Other features include a dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, Sprint \u20184G\u2019 network support, 802.11b\/g\/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, a microSDHC memory card slot, aGPS, a 1730mAh battery, and a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video chat.<\/p>\n<p>The EVO View 4G is a new 7-inch Android tablet which, sadly, runs Android 2.3 rather than 3.0 or 3.1.&#160; Powered by a Qualcomm 1.5GHz MSM8655 single-core processor, the EVO View 4G should be pretty snappy given its smaller display.&#160; Primary features include 30GB of onboard flash storage, 1GB of RAM, 802.11n Wi-Fi, \u20184G\u2019 data connectivity, a 5MP primary camera and 1.3MP front-facing camera, and GPS.&#160; You can also add up to 32GB of additional storage by way of its microSDHC card slot.<\/p>\n<p>The EVO 3D will sell for $199 with a two-year contract, while the EVO View 4G tablet will go for $399 with a similar two-year data service agreement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning, Sprint announced two new Android powered devices from HTC: the HTC EVO 3D smartphones and HTC EVO View 4G tablet.
