Globalfoundries, an Advanced Micro Devices spinoff, is working to stand out among the competition by focusing on a sophisticated manufacturing process. The company, which still is 35% owned by AMD, also has plans to build a $4.2 billion manufacturing complex in New York.<\/p>\n
