Droid Incredible 2 owners can now update their smartphones to Android OS v2.3, aka Gingerbread.  Verizon and HTC have just released the 116MB update, which contains numerous enhancements and bug fixes in addition to the basic functionality of 2.3 version of the Android operating system.
