Just before the July 4 Independence Day holiday, we broke some news that stated NVIDIA had plans to drastically reduce prices on their flagship GeForce GTX 260 and GTX 280 graphics cards.  Then a few days later, sure enough, the rumor became fact and prices dropped significantly for both products.Anytime a halo product like the GTX 200 series gets treated to a major price cut so close to its initial release, early adopters are inevitably disappointed.  After all, they paid a price premium for a product
