For months, FireFox Mobile has been eagerly anticipated by mobile users of all stripes. However, as recently as two weeks ago, there were Internet rumors that the software’s release could come as late as 2010. 

Now comes word from Mozilla CEO John Lilly that an alpha of FireFox Mobile (a pre-pre-release version) may be coming “…in a few weeks.”  If true, the final release of FireFox Mobile could come in the first half of 2009.
