A smartphone companion isn’t exactly a new idea, but if Celio follows through with its plan to release the REDFLY Mobile Companion later this quarter, it will be the first time such a device has successfully graduated from the planning stage to actual retail sale. The REDFLY, like the ill-fated Palm Foleo, is a keyboard and screen which displays information directly from a Windows Mobile PDA Phone (touchscreen) or Smartphone (non-touchscreen) over a USB or Bluetooth connection.
