The new T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II “4G” Android smartphone is $279 if purchased at a T-Mobile store or at the carrier’s web site, though you do get a $50 mail-in rebate which brings the final price to $229.  However, you can skip the mail-in rebate and still save $50 by purchasing from Wirefly.

Wirefly has the T-Mobile Galaxy S II for $179 when you sign up for a new account and agree to a two-year service commitment.  If you’re already a T-Mobile subscriber and are eligible for an upgrade, the price increases by $20 to $179, no mail-in rebate required.
