VIA Technologies posted revenues of NT$415 million (US$12.65 million) for June, down 23.9% from a year earlier. For the first half of 2009, the company's revenues totaled NT$2.44 billion, a sharp decline of 46.2% from the same period in 2008, according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).

Although VIA's white-box netbook alliance has already started shipping products, since the current shipments still remain low, it can only provide limited assistance to VIA's revenues, noted sources in the notebook industry.
