Palm, Apple in Dueling Smartphone Satisfaction Survey

Despite gripes about AT&T coverage, issues with the App Store, and lawsuits about missing MMS, people love the iPhone 3GS, or at least the 200 users surveyed by Capital and Changewave Research do. According to the survey, 99% of the users felt “satisfied” with iPhone 3GS, with 82% being “very satisfied.” Meanwhile, the Palm Pre, the latest challenger to the iPhone scored 87% satisfied, and 45% very satisfied. AMD Previews DirectX 11 Gaming Performance on Evergreen at Quakecon 2009

AMD invited Legit Reviews up to their private suite in the hotel that Quakecon 2009 is being hosted at for a first look at gaming on one of their upcoming DirectX 11 graphics cards. This graphics card has not been officially named yet, but it has the internal code name of 'Evergreen' and we managed to snap a picture of it. AMD is showing off this game and SDK demos to a very lucky 100 people at Quakecon 2009 this weekend, which is awesome. You get the chance to grab the mouse and play around with a DirectX 11 graphics card before it even comes out. Once you get done with the demo you get a numbered t-shirt showing which number you were. Not a bad idea to get a little buzz going in the gamer community. If you happen to be at Quakecon 2009 this weekend and see some AMD employees walking around be sure to tell them that you want to see the future and you might be escorted to a private suite with tons of free food and DirectX 11 graphics cards.

If you’re anything like us, you spend a great deal of time looking at an LCD monitor.
