Digital Storm Custom Core i7 Gaming System

Boutique system builders tend to fall into three categories, there are the more custom or high-end offerings from some of the larger names like Dell/Alienware or HP/Voodoo (though you may or may not classify them as “boutique”), there are offerings from large e-tailers like Tiger Direct’s SystemMax, and then there are independent companies as well, obviously. A few of the major names in this third category are MainGear, Velocity Micro and the company whose product we have on the bench for you today–Digital

CoolerMaster CSX Stacker 830 Red Flame Edition Review @ OCC and other reviews from around the web can be found by visiting our forums!

“The first thing that stands out on this case are the beautiful graphics, that really have to be seen in person to get a grip on just how nice they really are. Pictures alone do not do it justice; the paintwork is smooth and flawless on top of the Cooler Master chassis. The artwork does not just cover one side and the front, but the theme wraps around the whole case – including the top sides and front. The front side shows the flaming skull the case is named for, along with the CSX logo and unit number – 56 – of this case in the series of 400. The rear is much like that of the stock RC 830 chassis. A single 120mm fan and the power supply are the only means for exhausting air out of the chassis.”

And with today’s announcement that several major book publishers will be making some of their content, such as entire novels, available

IBM Looking To Acquire Sun Microsystem

Just 72 hours after IBM shipped out its 50 millionth Wii processor, we’re now learning that said company could be looking to expand via acquisition. In a breaking Wall Street Journal report, it’s stated that International Business Machines is already “in talks” to buy Sun Microsystem, a move that would reportedly “bolster IBM’s heft on the Internet, in software and in finance and telecommunications markets.”In reality, IBM and Sun aren’t that much different to begin with. Fandango’s iPhone App Debuts

Frankly, the movie theatre experience has become more of an annoyance for us than anything else, what with people answering or chatting on cellphones, the noise, and people even setting fireworks off (it was July 4, but still). This probably isn’t going to drag us back into the theater, but it’s still cool. Fandango has released an iPhone app that doesn’t stop at allowing you to check out movies and theatre locations, it allows over-the-air ticket purchases. Yep, it’s far more than just a way to browse and find

New Manga to Debut First on Nintendo Wii

Sunsoft has announced that Leiji Matsumoto’s newest manga, Out of Galaxy Koshika, will debut on the Nintendo Wii’s Shopping Channel on April 14th. Sorry, all, Japan only, at least for now. Sunsoft already released Princess Ai in January. Unlike Princess Ai, however, this is a totally new manga title. The first episode will cost 500 Wii points ($5). Subsequent episodes can be purchased for 200 Wii Points ($2) each. Leiji Matsumoto is probably best known as the creator of Space Battleship Yamato (Star Blazers),
